Amazon Price Scraper API

Extract the live price of any Amazon product as structured JSON: buy box price, list price, deal and coupon data, shipping cost, seller and stock, in one request per ASIN. Our Amazon price scraper API covers 20 Amazon marketplaces and deals with proxies and CAPTCHAs for you. You pay for successful responses only.

20 Amazon marketplaces
96.4% product success rate, last 30 days
3.4 s median response time
$0.90 per 1,000 successful requests

Quick answer

Send an ASIN and a marketplace to GET /api/v1/amazon/product and read price, price_buybox, price_strikethrough, currency and the buybox seller block from the response. It's part of the same Amazon scraper API you use for products and search. 1,000 requests are free, then $0.90 per 1,000 successful requests (from $0.50 per 1,000 on volume plans).

Why Amazon prices are hard to collect at scale

Amazon prices are hard to collect because Amazon blocks automated traffic with CAPTCHAs and challenge pages, and its official APIs no longer serve general price monitoring. Amazon deprecated the Product Advertising API 5.0 in favour of the Creators API, which is tied to Amazon Associates accounts. The Selling Partner Product Pricing API caps getItemOffers at 0.5 requests per second for a seller account. Neither works for a team pulling competitor prices on 5,000 ASINs a day.

Scrape Amazon prices with one API request

Scraping Amazon prices with our API takes one GET request with your key, the ASIN, and the marketplace domain.

cURL
curl "https://api.amazonscraperapi.com/api/v1/amazon/product?query=B09HN3Q81F&domain=com&api_key=YOUR_KEY"
Python
import requests

resp = requests.get(
    "https://api.amazonscraperapi.com/api/v1/amazon/product",
    params={"query": "B09HN3Q81F", "domain": "com", "api_key": "YOUR_KEY"},
    timeout=120,
)
resp.raise_for_status()
item = resp.json()
print(item["price"], item["currency"], item["buybox"][0]["seller_name"])

Official SDKs for Python, Node.js and Go wrap the same call. Same price either way.

Every Amazon price field in one JSON response

Every successful request returns the price fields Amazon shows on the product page, parsed into numbers with the marketplace currency. This is a real response from October 28, 2026, trimmed to the pricing fields:

price_strikethrough number or null List price ("was" price) when the item is discounted
price_shipping number Shipping cost of the featured offer, 0 when free
price_sns number or null Subscribe & Save price where offered
currency string ISO currency of the marketplace (USD, GBP, EUR, JPY ...)
pricing_count number How many offers Amazon lists for the ASIN
buybox array Featured offer: price, seller name and ID, ships-from, stock, delivery dates
coupon, coupon_discount_percentage string, number Coupon text and percentage when a coupon is clipped on the page
deal_type, discount_percentage, discount_end, lightning_deal mixed Deal and lightning-deal data when a deal is live
stock, is_prime string, boolean Availability text and Prime eligibility

The same response also carries the title, brand, rating, reviews, images, variations and best sellers rank. See the full product endpoint reference for every field, or the Amazon Product Scraper API page for the whole listing. When a product is unavailable, price is null and stock explains why, so a missing price never turns into a fake zero.

Track Amazon prices across a whole catalog

Tracking Amazon prices for a whole catalog works best with our async batch endpoint: send up to 1,000 ASINs in the items array of one POST and receive every result on your webhook. A 1,000-item batch typically completes in 10 to 12 minutes, and each item is billed only when it succeeds. Schedule the batch hourly or daily, then write price, price_buybox and currency with a timestamp to CSV or your database to build your own Amazon price history.

For category-level price monitoring, the Amazon search API returns price and price_strikethrough for every product card on an Amazon results page. Prefer to build it yourself first? Our Python price tracking guide walks through a working tracker.

Built for reliable Amazon price scraping

Our Amazon price scraper API runs every request through residential proxies with automatic rotation and retries, so CAPTCHA pages, blocks and timeouts are retried on fresh IPs before you ever see them. Over the last 30 days the product endpoint returned a successful result for 96.4% of customer requests, with a median response time of 3.4 seconds.

Amazon price scraper API pricing

Amazon price scraper API pricing is the same as every other endpoint: 1,000 free requests on signup with no card, then $0.90 per 1,000 successful requests pay-as-you-go. Monthly plans lower the rate: Vibe $19 for 27,000 requests, Pro $49 for 82,000 requests, and Custom plans at a flat $0.50 per 1,000 from $100 a month. See pricing for the full plan matrix.

Frequently asked questions

Does Amazon have an official price API?

expand_more
Amazon's official options are the Creators API for Amazon Associates, which replaced the deprecated Product Advertising API 5.0, and the Selling Partner API for registered sellers. Both require an Amazon account relationship and come with usage limits, which is why teams that monitor competitor prices across many ASINs use a scraper API.

How often can I check an Amazon price?

expand_more
You can check a price as often as your plan's concurrency allows, because each request fetches the live product page. Most price monitoring jobs refresh hourly or daily per ASIN, and the batch endpoint is the cheapest way to run those refreshes on a schedule.

Can I get prices from all sellers on a listing?

expand_more
Each product request returns the featured offer (buy box) with its price, seller and delivery dates, plus pricing_count, the number of offers Amazon lists for the ASIN. The full offer list from every seller is not part of the response today.

Does the API return prices in local currency?

expand_more
Yes. Prices are parsed as numbers in the marketplace currency, and the currency field states it, for example EUR on amazon.de and JPY on amazon.co.jp. Use the language parameter when you need page text in a specific language.

What happens when a product is out of stock?

expand_more
When a product is out of stock or has no featured offer, price and price_buybox return null and the stock field carries Amazon's availability text, such as "Currently unavailable." The request still succeeds, so you can record the stock change in your price history.

Is scraping Amazon prices legal?

expand_more
Price monitoring tools scrape public prices every day, and in hiQ v. LinkedIn a US appeals court held that accessing public web pages does not by itself violate the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act. Amazon's terms still restrict automated access, so read our guide on whether scraping Amazon is legal and check your own use case with counsel.
